ABOUT / EDITORIAL STANDARDS

What we list,
and why

Deutpahyeong is an editorial guide that finds experimental music, electronic music, and sound-art events in Seoul, then organizes the attendance facts and program context in its own words.

01

Beyond repeating an announcement

We check official notices and booking pages, then separate the date, time, venue, lineup, and admission conditions into readable facts.

We do not lightly rewrite or reproduce announcements. Each program note is newly written from details that can be verified in the cited sources.

Every event record includes the original source and the date on which we last checked it.

02 / STANDARDS

Editorial standards

01 Selection

We list future Seoul events in experimental music, electronic music, and sound art only when essential details can be confirmed through an official source. Discovery or submission alone does not guarantee publication.

02 Sources

We prioritize official venue, organizer, and artist notices, followed by official ticketing pages and cultural-institution programs. Duplicate notices are merged into one event record.

03 Writing

We write from verified facts. We avoid thin paraphrase and do not invent quality judgments, atmosphere, accessibility, or a running order that has not been announced.

04 Corrections

When a date, venue, lineup, or price changes, we revise against the official source and update the checked date. Visitors should still recheck the official page before attending.

03

Advertising and editorial judgment

A listing is not a quality guarantee or paid recommendation. Advertising is separated from editorial content, and advertising or commercial relationships do not influence selection or wording.

04

Corrections, changes, and submissions

Send a source link when reporting a missing fact, schedule change, or new event. We review it before updating the guide.
